Which card readers work with Cultcha?
Cultcha supports Stripe smart readers: the BBPOS WisePOS E, Stripe Reader S700, and Stripe Reader S710. They connect over Wi-Fi (the S710 also has built-in mobile data) and are driven straight from the Cultcha POS.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes. Payments are processed through your own connected Stripe account, so funds settle directly to you at Stripe’s standard rates with no added platform markup.
Can I use Tap to Pay or a mobile card reader?
Not currently. Cultcha uses Stripe’s server-driven smart readers; mobile readers (like the M2) and Tap to Pay on a phone require a different integration that isn’t supported yet.
How do I set up a reader?
Connect your Stripe account, then add the reader in Cultcha and enter the short registration code shown on the reader’s screen. It pairs to your location and is ready to take payments straight away.
How much do the terminals cost?
Hardware pricing is indicative and shown in AUD on this page — the WisePOS E, S700, and S710 are once-off purchases. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout and the readers are supplied and registered through Stripe Terminal.
